Fourth of July Vibes

I don't usually dress in holiday colors, but Fourth of July is always my exception.  I like to stick to  neutral blue and white clothing, and pop in a red accessory to complete the look.  Denim is always the easiest to use for this holiday, and is the most durable when dealing with watermelon stains #truth.  At first I was skeptical of the bandana look, but now I can't get enough of it because you can use it as a scarf, tie it on your bag, or wrap it around your wrist as a bracelet.  Of course this look wouldn't be complete without the "it" bamboo bag of the summer!

Per usual, Target is killing it this summer!  I found this comfy maxi dress with ruffle detail and knew I would live in this all summer long.  I don't usually wear colored sunnies, but why not?!  Fashion should be FUN (wine helps), and it's good to get out of your comfort zone from time to time.

If you don't have red sunnies, you can just let a red cuff make the statement!

When in doubt, nothing screams summer like white cut off shorts.  I wear these multiple times a week (aka repeat offender).  I also can't get enough of J.Crew's earrings this summer. Their designs are fun and fresh.  With statement earrings like these, you don't have to do much else!  This current design is sold out, so I linked another festive pair.

I want to thank my talented and lovely friend, Amanda (Amanda's have to stick together, ha!) for taking these pictures and providing her gorgeous outdoor space for this shoot.  She is a former food/lifestyle blogger, and selfishly I hope she starts blogging again, because I miss her helpful posts!  I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Fourth of July.

XOXO,
Amanda
